Merry Christmas!

Things I plan to do over the Holiday break...
- Organize my studio. Clean out the closet and inventory everything I have!
- Knit with the kids in front of the fire.
- Learn more about Adobe Photoshop. (so far I only know how to open it!)
- Spend tons of time with my sister and brother.
- and take time to GO & Dream about the New Year, make Wishes for my kids, and Adore everyone and everything around me.

Whatever you may celebrate, no matter how...
we wish you a very HAPPY HOLIDAY.
A sincere greeting to all of our friends, both old and new,
our families and customers (who we consider our friends!).

Hope your days are filled with great fun and laughter and
maybe a little glitter and glue!

SEE YOU IN 2009!

Resting the Creative Mind

I don't know about you guys, but right about now I am feeling a little overloaded. Like Allison, I have a million different ideas floating in my mind...

barrettes with eyelets and vintage jewelry...knitting with soft cottons...

You get the idea...SO MANY IDEAS!!!! If I could ask for one thing for Christmas this year, it would be for an extra 3 or 4 hours in a day. Wouldn't that be great?

I'm looking forward to the kids being off school and hanging around the house. I am hoping to do some organizing of my studio, enjoy some knitting and read more of the Twilight series.

I think that when you have some down time it lets you rest your creative mind....so watch out for next year! Lots of new ideas will be coming! I hope you and your families have a wonderful holiday season. Rest those minds & I'll see you next year!

what's coming up?

We have been brainstorming like crazy... I can't stop discovering new projects!

Ok. So... "what are you thinking about?" you ask?
-Scrabble Tile pendants
-Vintage inspired knob pulls
-more and more light switch designs
-something soft, perhaps felted projects!
-more collage! Learning the art if distressing...
-hardback and soft back hand bound journals...
And this is just in my head! Stacie's head is full as well!!!

how about a gameboard inspired line. Monopoly? Bingo? Scrabble?

January is going to be a fun month!
So for now... the rest of this month will be spent organizing my chaotic "mess-terpiece" and knitting! I am in a frenzy making funky scarves and hats for my family! Stacie introduced me to embellishing on knittings... so I can't wait to check out more if it this Fri!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! We had fun... my whole family joined us here for our annual cookie exchange and tree trimming party! The kids also had guests of their own. Making ornaments and a kids talent show! It was SOOOOO much fun! These kids have energy to spare!

I am a little tired... but excited for the holidays. I think I am finally getting into the spirit!!!

Have a great day and hope you have a creative fun time!

Cell phone charms!

OK, we are a bit obsessed with Twilight!!! But, we are having fun! That is the point of art and creating, right?

Check out these great cell phone charms that Allison made. The charms can also be used on IPods too. We already sold one on Moonflower!

We donated a few to my son's middle school for a Christmas shopping spree. They should be a hot ticket item.

Allison did get away from the Twilight scene long enough to make this beautiful cell phone charm.

Well off to get the day started. Hope you have a good one! Thanks for checking back in with us.
